When i change parts, samples are not changing even though i am

  1. using different sample slots
  2. saving each Part after i add and assign each sample.

What am i doing wrong?? it works (sometimes) when i copy a Part to another Part and then change samples but this is clearly not the right workflow!!

These Parts are in the same Bank?

yes - in same pattern

To switch to another part, you have to select it then press YES.
The Part is then assigned to the current Pattern.
If you go to another pattern, default Part is Part 1.

Is this already known to you?

Yes. Pitch shift etc works fine. Just samples are the issue

Have you used any sample locks?

Does your lay out look like (or very similar to) this? -

Pattern A1, track 1, Part 1 flex/static machine, loaded with sample from slot 1.

Pattern A1, track 1, Part 2 flex/static machine, loaded with sample from slot 2

Yes!

Check all scenes, all LFOs, all parameter locks.
There’s a user error in there some where
