Can track mutes be saved with a part? I’ve been trying to do this but the track mute configuration that I have on the current part stays the same when I change to a different part.

No, mutes are not saved with parts. The arranger can automate mutes though, and much more… Check it out! 
Yeah, i saw the arranger LED lit for the very first time last night, had a peek in … okay… deal with that stuff laters
