ParksTool MIDI controller

Has anyone seen these or had any experience using them as a basic MIDI extension for Elektron or other devices? The price is quite reasonable and I’d love to have something like this to pair with Syntakt. I’m not very experienced with setting up a MIDI device like this - could it be used to adjust the “macros” in ST for performance? Or single parameters only? Or none of the above? The documentation on his site is a bit scattered…

Also interested if anyone has suggestions for similar devices in a similar price range- I want something very minimal, I have seen the offerings from FaderFox and they look nice but are much pricier for a feature set I wouldn’t necessarily use…

I like the idea but would not feel comfortable with 96cc values per revolution and 4 per step, that’s too much for some controls like pitch or anything that’s in decimal range

it does say you can change the resolution but not sure how much…

These look amazing

Seems really expensive or what am I missing?

£70 for a eight encoder device (which double as buttons I think) with easy web configuration?

Seems a bargain to me!

EDIT: Ohh one I want is in stock now (was it earlier?) so I’ve ordered one. I will report back with how it is

I would throw in a trs cable but yeah I agree it’s not that expensive, also the encoders version is pushable so it’s extra 8 buttons

oh and midi out is real nice, setup once and plug directly to hardware, pretty awesome
