Panning monosynth in octatrack

Advice needed,

Not sure if this has been discussed before or I am missing something fundamental!

I’m running a monosynth with a single output to input A on octatrack.
I can hear the monosynth ok using the thru machine but when I pan the signal it has no effect.

Is it possible to do this?
I need to pan as I don’t want all the signal in the middle.

DIR was turned up in mixer and for whatever reason that does not allow panning when in amp page…

Hello. I have problems with the panning. i can´t pan / center an external synth sound. I always listen the sound for 1 speaker. Panning doesnt works for me. I have a mono synth connnected to input A ( a bass station 2 ) . I have a Thru machine in track 1.

I listen to the synth sound only for 1 speaker.

This is my configuration . PLEASE HELP , tell me whats wrong or if somethjing missing:

MIXER : main 0 DIR 75 GAIN +63

(note: if i put DIR to 0 i can´t hear nothing)

PLAYBACK tab : INAB - A VOL +63

AMP tab: ATK 0 HOLD INF REL INF

              VOL  +63     BAL  + 63

(is the BAL parameter the panning ??? , i turn it to the left and to the right but nothing happens. Should be something missing !!!

SOLVED : i needed a RECORDING TRIG KEY activated in the sequencer to hear the panning the effects and all that. SHIT . problem solved here Thanks god.
