Everything is synced up perfectly, but I have an issue with the audio coming from the 303 via OT.
It only plays out of the left side of my headphones/speakers (this might be because of the output, as the mod changes it to Tip- FM input and Ring-Audio output (same issue if you just used headphones from it)
I could use a thru machine, but as I understand it you can’t sample a thru track directly, which would mean using 2 tracks just for one sound (I use the OT mainly as drum machine/break sequencer so tracks are used up quick!)
I haven’t done much with recording yet but if they work anything like a thru machine then you should be able to set the input letters. Also if you use two inputs Luke a and b then keep in mind a+b makes a mono channel whereas a(space)b makes a stereo. Not sure if that helps. I can try experimenting later with my OT and give an update if no one responds.
Thanks! I’ll give that a go tomorrow, just annoying that I’d have to use a thru machine and then another to record, especially live.
I think one way around it would be to use a mixer and either send the output to the OT/Use the OT as an insert. But I don’t have a mixer sadly!
If you could try it and let me know that would be awesome!
Might be misunderstanding your intent, but you can certainly sample a thru machine or any other track for that matter. Just select that track as the SRC3 sampling input for your chosen track recorder.
My issue was that if I just hooked up my 303 to the OT it would only come out on the left side of headphone speakers (due to devilfish mods) and I wanted a way for it to output to both.
I guessed a thru track would be able for me to at least pan it to centre, but thought I couldn’t sample off it, needing 2 tracks for 1 instrument

Thru tracks can pan to center as well. If your 303 is connected to input A, switch from “A B” (default, A = left, B = right) to “A” (which will play it for both left and right) or “A + B” (which will do the same, and mix whatever is in input B with it). Note that this parameter can also be locked to trigs in the sequencer so you can switch this as part of a sequence.
Also make sure that you don’t have this input turned up in the mixer screen, as that does not provide any panning control - it treats AB and CD as 2 stereo pairs, just like the default “A B” behavior you see for Thru tracks and it can’t be changed for the mixer.
