For some reason if I program a two bar loop…and then extend it via scale setup (from 32 to 64)… it does not autocopy my trigs
In the system menu-Personalize I DO NOT have disable page autocopy selected…
what am i overlooking??

it’ll work from 16 to 64 though surely, 16 is def state !
One possibility is that you had a 64 step pattern previously. If you go from 64 to 32, and then back up to 64, steps 33 to 64 revert to how they were in the original 64 step pattern.
Start a fresh pattern, set it to 32, lay some trigs - now try it. Working?

Well it should do because what you are doing is exactly the same as the example given in the manual p94. But you saying that I think Ive had that happen, but only occasionally … do you think theres some sort of power users short cut to disabling auto copy were accidentally accessing [that would be a useful hidden feature]

i knew coming back down from 64 would pose those issues, but I wasn’t sure it’d be robust doubling from 32 to 64, that works fine 
The Power User Tip is as I explained above. I imagine Elektron did it this way because otherwise resizing to a smaller pattern size would permanently delete trigs. It makes sense if you try it out and it can be used to your advantage.

i didnt start with 64 steps… i have a template from which i start all my “songs” and is 16 steps
i opened a ticket

I had the same ‘issue’. And i forgot i had my pattern once longer…
Are you realy sure that you never had you’re template pattern longer?
Theres reasons for that behaviour…
OS Version?
Can you replicate it in a new project?
