Those of you who have returned elektron gear for repair from the uk, how much did you have to pay for one way insured postage?. I have been struggling contacting the retailer who sold me the device and decided to sort it myself. Elektron’s prefered courier charges 50 eur, is this average or can I do better without putting myself at risk?.
I sent a box back in January via Elektrons courier and I looked around a bit at the time and decided that it was a fair price and easiest option I printed the labels and took it to a local click and collect shop. You may find a better deal, doesnt take long to check other couriers.

Ok, if there isnt much difference I shall proceed. Bit miffed I have to pay at all but maybe the store is not able to deal with returns at the moment so they dont answer emails.

Yeah same, I looked around and it turned out Elektron’s one was reasonable when you factor in insurance. I guess it is a bit annoying you have to pay shipping. I was returning two, one of which was out of warranty, so wasn’t too concerned at the time.
