Have just purchaised Elektron overhub and have issiues with my soundcard M2 and my ekstern HDD not working at all. All connected to my laptop with USB 3.0 and windows 10.
I am not able to power my M2 when Overhub is connected.

Is it plugged into a USB2/USB3 or USB-C/thunderbolt adapted port capable of delivering required power to it and attached devices?
- Power In for AC adapter, 5 V DC 4 A (Not included)
- Bus power from the computer host is sufficient to power 7 Overbridge devices. Should you need to power a USB drive or charge an MP3 player you need an AC adapter (not included). Compatible power supply: 5 VDC 4A Connector 3,5 x 1,35 mm, center pin positive
Note that you may not need 4A worth of power between the SSD and M2, 1-2A current may be enough.
The “sufficient to power 7 overbridge devices” portion is not relevant to the bus needs of your bus-powered interface and hdd, since each overbridge device is not bus-powered and has its own wall adapter.

I am able to run my M2 soundcard, wi-fi adapter, ekstern HDD… all of them running on my laptop without any problems. That’s why i needed overhub, bcs i need to add some NI controlers to it.

Sure, there is not enough bus power on that one USB port and you will need to add an appropriate power supply plugged into the hub to help with that deficit.

Sure, thankfully this is not a lot of wattage so there are cheaper and reliable PSUs that should meet these needs.
This one might be missing the wall connector plug but I know many of us have oodles of those already.
