Overbridge recording compressed sound without the compressing sound

Hello,

I use my DT to input audio via physical input, or sometime usb input.

I would like to know if it is possible to use the compressor on a sound, as for a sidechain, and then to record via overbridge and ableton the compressed sound but without the compressing sound…

As an exemple Compressing a pad with a 4/4 kick and recording the compressed pad in ableton but without the 4/4 kick but still the pump FX ?

Based on page 13 in the manual I’d say no.

The output of the mixer is connected to the input of the compressor which essentially means if you mute your kick track to remove it from the output, you also remove it from the input of the compressor and then you would not get your sidechain effect.
