Overbridge on 2 boxes simultaneously?

Hi there.

Relatively happy AR owner about to pick up an A4/AK. Will OB work on both machines at the same time?

Good question - I would hope so, as I plan to record both boxes at the same time with Overbridge.

with the VST i believe it is possible and for sure in OSX creating a virtual sound set-up, i forget the technical name

While I’m sure two instances of the VST will work simultaneously I’d be surprised if Overbridge (and, more importantly, your computer) could handle multi track recording of multiple instances without clips and pops in the audio.

I already have an Octacapture and I can get eight track multi recording easily enough but add in 8 more tracks from an AR and possibly a further 4 from my AK and you have significant resource drain.

Shouldn’t have much longer to find out though!
