The first impression is very good. No clutter so far, works smoothly. Is it true that there are only up to 15 channels of output with DT2? Channels for FX are separate, so do you have to combine?

From my understanding, the problem is Ableton inputs limitations, not dt2 outputs

The track limitation is not that bad. With the mixer it is quite easy to set-up routing. For me, I’ll start with a separate channel for the kick, one for drums (2 to 8) and then a separate channel for the bottom row, which are often more random melodic bits. [image]

I actually prefer this limitation. In hindsight, with the OG DT I rarely had a reason to have 8 different tracks. For me it’s fine to group a few hats or percussion elements for example.

The mixing set-up works great and you can save it as a template.
