Overbridge doesn’t recognize my Digitakt

Overbridge doesn’t seem recognize my Digitakt

I tried starting Overbridge from GarageBand

And when I did, it showed me only three machine options

-Analog Four
-Analog Keys
-Analog Rytm

That’s it

So I figured there must be something wrong with this version of Overbridge of something

Please please help

My Digitakt is updated to 1.11 and my Overbridge is update to 1.15.0

And yes, the Overbridge mode is turned on

Tried uninstalling and installing

The cable works just fine on midi mode, so the cable working

I checked in the settings to see if the driver is disabled, it’s not

I use a Mac Pro laptop

I wish I had an answer, I’m having the same problem. Additionally, my DAW (Ableton Live 10.1.9) isn’t picking up the digitaikt as an Audio Interface/Soundcard. I don’t think many people use it for this, but for diagnosis purposes, maybe see if your Mac will bring it up in Audio/Midi setup or in SystemPreferences/Sound as an audio driver. Good luck!

You need overbridge 2

But be aware that Overbridge 2 requires you to upgrade the firmware of all your other Elektron machines (if you have one?) to a matching version, too.

In general it’s an either/or situation: either upgrade to Overbridge 2 (which is still in BETA and may not be completely stable or even may be incompatible with your computer OS) or stay at Overbridge 1 and forget about Digitakt integration.

I’m not completely sure, but I think you cannot have both versions on your computer.

(your post made not clear if you have any other Elektron machine or if you are already using Overbridge 1)
