Overbridge as VST for live tracks

attempted to use OB plug in for track ( internal…not with the hardware or any hardware attached)…It’s installed as AU and VST …( it’s not showing up as a VST3)
Is it possible to use it as a standalone…?

I’m sorry I don’t have an answer for you on this one, but you’ll have better luck if you mention that it’s ableton or the other specific daw in question. Although the answer may just be no, but I think the more specific you can be the better the response you’ll receive.

I was trying to use the program ( OB/vst) as a plugin on an audio track …just the software. No elektron boxes involved…It is receiving audio but no output

I just don’t know either way if it will matter, but sometimes you have to say which daw you’re using.

Are you trying to use OB because it’s convenient/you’re familiar with it, or is there another purpose specific to the program? you want it to be a vst in which way? overbridge is the pathway for audio from the elektron box to the computer, so that’s why plicktzah asks what OB would do without Elektron hardware attached.

Yeah, OB just works as a controller and multitrack audio interface for the hardware boxes.
Though, to be honest, for a minute I thought Elektron did implement the digital FX of the Heat+FX in Overbridge. That would be awesome

yes, I asked a while pack and uninstalled it and downloaded today when I noticed there was an upgrade. I am fine make myself look foolish… I appreciate both you and @plicktzah
