Are you trying to use OB because it’s convenient/you’re familiar with it, or is there another purpose specific to the program? you want it to be a vst in which way? overbridge is the pathway for audio from the elektron box to the computer, so that’s why plicktzah asks what OB would do without Elektron hardware attached.

Yeah, OB just works as a controller and multitrack audio interface for the hardware boxes.
Though, to be honest, for a minute I thought Elektron did implement the digital FX of the Heat+FX in Overbridge. That would be awesome

yes, I asked a while pack and uninstalled it and downloaded today when I noticed there was an upgrade. I am fine make myself look foolish… I appreciate both you and @plicktzah

ah, makes sense now…the FX is way out of my league unless I sell a couple of the boxes but am attached to DT and DN.

I understand very well that sometimes we want something that is 2 things instead of one - it never hurts to try! I want some things that are 3 or 5 things in one. The problem is that sometimes, when you get something that does too much - it is confusing to use, or it does none of them very well.

Although the breakfast burrito manages to do 2 things very well,
I must say.
