Ricky Tinez is our man at Apple now. Let’s hope for the best!
I hope Elektron is considering Transfer app on mobile as well. We all know gin taste better when you add some juice on it. Also Transfer app could be compatible with non M devices ![]()

For every person like you that feels that way, I bet there’s at least one like me that would absolutely use it because the current thing I do is just fully mixing on device for all the devices in my chain and streaming the mixed output audio into a single stereo track in logic. Yes, I hate individually tracking into a DAW that much, but I also like all of my songs to be single live takes with no overdubs. So even if being limited to one elektron device meant that, I could run a synth or two into a syntakt, send the mixed audio from that to my digitone ii, then overbridge from digitone ii and end up with 16 instrument tracks, effects send tracks, input L/R tracks containing the other 12+ drums and synths and whatever I sent to the syntakt all “bounced” together, and the master mix I had from the digitone II. That’s a huge increase in the number of levers to work with to refine a mix without changing the fact that I live tracked all of that into my ipad once. I don’t mind taking my time to mix, I just don’t like taking my time to track into the DAW and this would give me much more power that way. Plus, with overbridge even recording separate devices in voice groupings to get all the individual tracks from multiple elektrons would still be fine if you use song mode and send the MIDI start from the DAW, you still don’t have to waste time lining it up in time like you might with overdubbing a live non-MIDI instrument.

Hey all, any developments on this?
Hopefully! i would love this to death!
for xmas please.
make the app cost 39,99 if you want, but not a subscription.
was my superbooth highlight.
Agree, would happily pay 40 for this.
This would be awesome (for me at least) in an IOS app … potentially the overbridge IOS app.
I’ll buy an iPad if this happens for sure.
Yup this needs to happen. I am now fully iOS for anything that is not final recording/editing/mastering.
I think it would be more useful to strengthen general SysEx-send capability on the one hand (for file management between devices and with any software) and class compatible multi-i/o on the other hand. Overbridge as control surface could/should be applied via normal combination of MIDI CC, NRPN and SysEx.
Yeah, going more into MIDI 2.0 for the parameter control wouldnt be unwelcome… OTOH I really like how OB2 has matured, its a solid protocol by now. Would be a shame if they ditched it for something else

can digitakt (or DT2?) currently do audio over USB in either direction? or is it dependant on this maybe coming out one day? I’m not sure if this is just for multitracking
They can both stream the main stereo mix through class compliant audio, using the DT/2 as an interface. The reason people want OB is to access all the individual tracks.
thanks, at least it’s got that. I was considering a DT2. If this came out it would tip the scales to a definite yes. Can you sample into DT via usb currently?
Yep. I’ve never tried it from my laptop, but sampling from an iOS device is super easy as long as you have the correct USB cabling/adapter.

I asked about the app at Bristronica, and it’s definitely still under consideration.
