Overbridge and Higher Sampling Rates in DAW (>44.1kHz)

Hey guys,

I’ve noticed that when you use a higher sampling rate in your DAW, Overbridge starts half a bar later than the rest of the tracks in the session. It does this maybe 50% of the time.
I’ve also noticed that you can change this delay by changing the sampling rate. I got half a bar of delay at 96kHz, and by reducing the sampling rate the delay gets smaller. At 44.1kHz everything works just fine.

This is my setup:

  • Windows 10
  • Overbridge 2.0.39
  • Ableton Live 10.1.14.
  • Digitakt with firmware version 1.20
  • 1st gen Focusrite Scarlett 2i4

Just wanted to leave this here, since I don’t know where else I could report bugs.

Cheers,
Stefan

Weird I’ve never noticed this. I usually record at 48khz and everything is ship shape

I think Overbridge runs at 48k no matter what.
