Just collected my DN2 and apart from my almost 
o disappointment in discovering that the screen had a scratch despite the box was sealed…and thanks god it was on the Film surface 
I understand there is no Overbridge ready yet?
Thats why there is a protective film.

Because if you put the product into a box it can happen. Thats what its for.
Overbridge will come for sure.
It took quite a while for digitakt2, but I guess for DN2 it will be faster.
I am supprised that noone is interested in this topic, I can’t wait for overbridge for digitone 2 to be released

Well nothing we can do apart from shouting it loud BUT the Legacy Sysex Import is most important now in my Opinion as old libraries can’t be imported at this stage unless you have a DN1 to convert it in Transfer file format

Im actually considering the Digitone2 in the near future (next 30-60 days) but I want to make sure Overbridge is working because Im a DAW user. If Overbridge isnt working for this, despite how it says “Overbridge enabled” in the online ads and docs, I’ll just wait until they fix this?
Im about to buy a Digitone2 and read through the marketing and docs, which say “Overbridge compatible”, but now Im seeing threads on the forum where people are saying they bought the device but Overbridge doesnt work with it.
Can someone @ Elektron confirm/deny for me that Overbridge (windows) is or isnt ready? If not, what is the ETA for that? Im a Syntakt user and a primary DAW user who wont be purchasing the unit until Overbridge works. Thank you!

I don’t have one but I think DN2 doesn’t have overbridge yet.
DT2 was release in March (?) this year and had overbridge a few weeks ago. I believe you won’t have to wait so many months since (probably) some work will be ported from DT2 to DN2

On the main digitone 2 page it has this text in the overbridge section
Overbridge for Digitone II is currently being beta tested, and the good news is that multitracking is near completion. We hope to have more news very soon.

Ob does not exist for the Digitone 2 yet. Judging by the language on the website it should soon. Maybe with the next update. If it’s any indication, Digitakt 2 had way more safe language used on the website on overbridge compatibility and it took Elektron some months.
Thank you all for your replies! The info (that Overbridge isnt ready yet) should also be on Sweetwater’s sales page, but they dont seem to want to publish that next to the “pre purchase now!” link lol.
It sounds like there isnt a solid date, but Im hoping that when Im ready to do this (Januaryish??) Overbridge will be done. I can do DAWless but its a pain with my setup and workflow so I really dont want to buy it and have it sit there. Thanks all.
Class compliant audio might work but it’ll likely only be main out stereo audio , not multitrack.

Good point. I havent tried my Syntakt in “audio + usb” mode yet so I dont know how reliable that is, but that might indeed work at least for a while. I can live without multitrack at first as I compose, and then later I can break it out into the DAW. Thanks for that suggestion (no idea why I didnt think of it lol Im tired)
