I updated on Mac and still having the exact same issue with weird audio pitch / slowing down as before when using audio over USB from DT to VST
Has anyone got the Digitakt VST working with Ableton 10 in Mac OSX Mojave 10.1.4.3? The stand alone works great but the VST never sees that the Overbridge Engine is running. Please help. Ive allowed the extension in my security preferences.
Yes, same here… after the update on Digitone and Analog Heat MK1, Overbridge on Mojave:
- Neither the AH MK1 nor the Digitone shows up in Overbridge.
- USB MIDI mode works fine on both devices.
Have not tried Digitakt yet. Will hold off on that I think.
It works fine here. Please check:
- did you install the latest OS on the digitakt? Each update of the overbridge vst works only with the corresponding OS that needs to be installed on the device
- if you are not sure which versions you have download the installer and OS again (top of this thread). Now comes the important part: before you install again use the un-installer to remove all overbridge software. Restart the mac and use the installer again
On the latest version of overbridge (2.0.11.2beta) and the latest version of the Digitakt firmware (1.11beta6)
Standalone digitakt app works great but the VST in Ableton 10.6 just say that the overbridge engine isn’t running when it is. Digitakt just says idle in the overbridge app. Ive allowed the extension in my security and preferences. Out of ideas at this point.

"It might be that the driver is blocked. Also, just double check that the unit is in Overbridge Mode.
To check if the driver is blocked and unblock it:
- Reboot your computer. (The option of unblocking a driver disappears 30 minutes after the machine has been connected to your computer).
- Start the Overbridge control panel.
- Start your DAW and load the VST/AU.
- Now go to System Preferences, Security & Privacy.
- Here at the bottom, the driver will show up as blocked and that it needs permission to run.
- Click the allow button to unblock the driver.
- Restart your DAW and verify that the VST/AU loads and have a connection."

Digitone not ready yet? It is picked up by my mac (even in OB mode) but attempts to update it through sending the file in C6 to Digitone do not work.
why the daw no see the sequencer of analoug four and rithm
That isn’t a feature, at least of the current versions.

Whenever i try to use Ableton Live 10 with 2 Digitakt connected, i have to re-configure the Overbridge plugin for both Digitakt inside Ableton each time i close the project or disconnect the machines.
Is there a way to avoid this ? I tried setting a different Auto Channel for both Digitakt (10 and 11) in the Midi Setting -> Channels inside the Digitakt parameters but it doesn’t seem to work.
Tried out this new update of OB Beta. Still glitchy and pitchy when running playing through OB on Heat mkii, Digitakt, AF mkii.
Takes a few loops to correct itself and then sound normal. But if stop and start play again, same thing happens.
Glitchy and Pitchy.

I just noticed that OB renders my computer SUPER slow. [other progs not related to recording]
my MIDIserver [MAC] CPU usage goes WAY up…I was not able to do anything with Adobe Premiere or Photoshop while I had my DT and DN on.
turned them off and all was back to normal

And now here’s what doesn’t show up…
NOTHING IN MIDI
On previous versions I had DT in midi port.

I can not record the midi sequences that I do in my AR or AF in the vts of oberbridge nor in ableton and studio 1. What do I have to use?
Back to the first version of OBB because the second don’t work. I mean this last don’t show me digitakt in OB engine ; it can’t find digitakt…

There’s an oversight in the manual, in appendix B.1, which details the ins and outs for Analog Rytm MKI/MKII. The diagram is missing the stereo overbridge input from the “Audio In” inputs on the MKII.

I am experiencing these issues with my equipment and Cubase 10.
I opened a topic about but then I realized that It would have been better to place it here.
Admins are welcome to delete the topic that I created if they want.
Let’s go on the issues:
My computer:
-MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 - 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
-My soundcard:
steinberg YAMAHA UR44
-MY USB hub:
OVERHUB
-My Elektron instruments:
Analog Keys (mk1 only)
Analog Rytm (mk1)
My issues:
- Because we’re talking about mk1 models sometimes I need to activate and deactivate usb channels by the Overbridge Control Panel. If I do this with Cubase already opened the Panel app crashes. Sometimes crashes even if Cubase is not running (and I am using the Standalone editor).
When it crushes I use “force quit” command, the app is effectively killed but then I am not able to restart it unless I restart the Mac. - Sometimes the plug-ins stop working in Cubase with no reason.
- I’ve never been successful to record an automation…I hit record automation, the wanted parameters move as expected when I use knobs or mouse on the VST but then nothing get recorded.
- On the analog keys I am not able to record notes in a Cubase track playing on AK keyboard even if the midi routing is ok for the track. If I use my Novation SLmk2 as midi input connected to the OverHub notes get recorded in the selected cubase midi track as expected.
I am not an expert daw user so It may be me but I tried all possible equivalent things using the Sub-Phatty plug-in and everything worked just fine as expected (regarding points nr 3 and 4).
Is anybody experiencing similar issues? Any idea? Thanks
Hi everyone, I just tried new beta version RYTM MK2 os , but it won’t transfer using c6. the progress bar looks fine on c6 but Rytm wont recive anything (tried both options , when machine is biited and using maintanance mode )
Any ideas why this could be ?
Plugged it directly to my mac book pro using original usb cable .
running high Sierra 10.13.3
Make sure that the Rytm is not i Overberdge mode. Then start C6 and highlight the Rytm as both MIDI in and MIDI out in C6 config window. Another thing to check is that the MIDI ports on the Rytm is set to send/receive MIDI over USB. This is done in the MIDI port settings on the unit.
