So Overbridge is getting closer to release (I think) and I just thought I’d comment…
More than two streams of audio through USB? How is that possible? It was my understanding that only two channels of audio could be sent through USB, so I’m thinking that the cables have been designed differently to allow the transfer of multi-channels. The new USB cables may be Elektron’s own design.
I probably won’t even use it to be honest, but I am curious as to how they’re pulling it off.
So it’s the sync and audio design in the hardware itself. Ahhh ok.
I wonder if analog outs will have to be sacrificed to use more digital outs through USB…
Can I stream two channels straight to DAW using OB while having 6 analog outs (Analog RYTM) go to a mixer-then back to the DAW through an audio interface?
I probably won’t use OB anyway but I’m sure few people want to know the limitations.
