I received my model:Samples today, and I thought it would be the perfect machine for me : I already had a digitakt, a keystep and a neutron.
My goal was to add a hardware sequencer, so I can dedicate the digitakt to drums.
After having tried a few setups, I’m quite frustrated because all works fine, except I can’t hear the neutron when I play it live via the keysetp, and when I play a pattern via the model:samples.
I thought I would have exactly the same sequencer as the digitakt, which enables this.
Please Elektron developers, can you solve this problem ?
The keystep sequencer is no solution to me, I’m looking for something really convenient.
I don’t want to program my patterns before starting to play : I really want to play live and create patterns live.
I have a midi thru miditech box, so I could buy a midi merger, to have :
keystep -> midi thru box -> out 1 goes directly to in 1 of midi merge box -> neutron
-> out 2 goes to model:samples -> goes to in 2 of midi merge box
This is a bit too much, I don’t like this “solution”…
