OTO Machines BIM as beat repeat

BIM is really cool for non-delay FX! Lots of tricks in this unit. Using it here as a beat repeat effect.

Nice one! So how are u enjoying ur Bim?

Im really interested in that little beauty…just want more demos similar to yours to justify a buy :smiley:

Really digging it. I’m really pleased with the depth of FX you can get out of this. It’s not a simple delay. Loving the 12 bit crunch and the built in limiter.

ive got a biscuit on the way , i’m interested in the bim too , not much on youtube though…

post some movies / audio :wink:

Isn’t the limiter just to control the feedback?

@re5et
Here is a quick demo I made, using the Bim to effect a sequence from a Minitaur being routed through an Erebus: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50016899/Bim.mp3

Yes, thats what its there for, but (and maybe I’m wrong) I set the BIM to 100% WET, with the most minimal delay possible so it sounds real time (basically just trying to make it 12-Bit), then I crank the input gain. I think the limiter kicks in, and you get a really really cool sound.

Oooh nice. One of the main reasons I got the Bim was for that purpose, just haven’t experimented enough (there’s quite a lot to it for a delay unit). I know what I’m doing tonight, thanks for the info. :slight_smile:

edit: Okay, now I really can’t wait for the Boum. Wow.

Mmmmm want! Time so save some cash and buy as a early x-mas present just for me me and only me! :joy:
