Greetings. It’s my first post here so let me thank you all for all your great insights, they’ve been very helpful. I searched the forum and didn’t find any conversation related to my issue.
I have my machines MIDI sync’d where the OT is the master and AR is the slave.
When changing patterns on the OT the AR responds well, except when I have the ‘chain behavior’ on the OT set to ‘pattern settings’ the AR seems to change pattern only at the end of the master length somehow.
My problem is:
- I have a 64 step pattern on the OT and the AR but I want to be able to change patterns after 32 steps (ex: in the middle of the 64 step pattern)
As a workaround I could make it a 32 step pattern instead of 64 and then use conditional trigs. Does anyone know a proper way to do this ? Is it a question of fiddling with the settings or is this a thing that the machines just won’t do ?
