OT usb port used for lamp powering?

Hi,

I’m wondering if someone already thought to use the USB port of the OT with an USB lamp like this one:

With an USB male/female adaptor, would it be possible? When mixing at dark, it could help when you don’t have any computer near by.

this was my exact question when i got the ot, and unfortunately the answer is no. it’s not a port that provides power.

If you’re really into USB lamps, I use a cheap powered USB hub to power a few. Bring em to gigs, they’re handy!

yes, I got a powered hub too, but it’s not very stable on a table. Maybe you found one easier to use with usb lamps.
