OT sequencing AR & Korg Volca FM?

Hi there,

I am new to midi sequencing, but know how to access the channels page on the Octatrack.

My question is, how should these cables be connected?
OT midi out > AR midi in & then out of midi thru B > Korg Volca FM [midi input only]

And also, now sequencing is taken up channel 1 to 12 on the AR.
How can I set Volca FM to accept channel 13? Is this the right way to go about it?

Also, putting a Thru track does not allow me to hear anything from the actual input (I tried using the same track as midi and different audio track as midi, didn’t matter).

Cable connections are correct.
Setting midi channel volca fm: Hold memory button while powering on and press corresponding button number on keyboard.
Thru track needs a trigger to be placed (normally on first step) for it to start passing audio.
