OT only track, made out of washing machine samples

I created a challenge on another forum, where the goal was to create a track out of sampling unmusical things in your home.

I decided to use nothing but the Octatrack and sample a washing machine.

Here’s the first draft of the track. Still needs lots of work though. It would’ve been easier if I had used some pitch recognition software and tune the samples to some key, but I decided to use just the OT and do things by ear.

…well i thoroughly enjoyed it as-is.
the metallic grind during the “break” about 3/4 of the way through was a bit harsh through my headphones so you might eq that a bit to save our ears. but other than that it made a great first impression.

Have to agree with dubathonic on the break. I thought it was great up to there.

This has been a great thread too. Lost of creative ideas.
