OT mk1 Copy paste from audio track to Midi solved

Hello.

I hope somebody can help me out.

I want to copy trigs and notes from audio tracks over to Midi tracks, but I cant make it work.

This what i do:
I choose my track, track one in this case with 4x4 kick, hit record, press func+rec and get COPY TRACK.

Then i hit the Midi button to go to the Midi page,
Choose my track
hit func+stop

…nothing

Please help.

Is this a feature or a bug? am i missing something?

You cannot copy an audio track to a midi track.

They have different parameters functions and qualities.

Audio layer and midi layer are discrete, not interachangeable. Same with recorder buffer layer.

You can copy trigs across but be warned not all data contained within that trig will be retained.
