I just got a MD today and first plugged it into my mixer.
It had Fat Kicks, Whomping Claps, clanking hihats, - everything like expected and super nice sound!

than i plugged the MD into the input AB of my OT and the sound got super thin, less dynamic and clippy.
i didnt tried hard, yet but i did the obvious stuff and tried several things:
lowering the VOL of MD, lowering the INput vol of the OT, checking gain settings in the mixer of OT etc etc.
Im quite new to the Octatrack so maybe i oversee something…
what ever i tried the sound is not getting as FAT and BIG and DYNAMIC as i just plug the MD into the mixer.
someone can help?
i was really excited about this setup - and still am but right now im a bit disappointed…
