Pretty new to the dawless world, was sucked into modular for a few years, finally realized I was in The Money Pit, and bailed. I’ve been building a hardware setup that’s centered around the OT as a Performance Mixer (thanks EZBOT!) My main idea is to have the KSP input midi to the Pyramid, which sends to a bunch of other hardware. This is all ends up running into the OT, which I would like to keep as the main clock per things I have read. Here’s my problem: I can’t seem to get the KSP to pass the clock to the Pyramid as well as the midi notes for input to the Pyramid tracks. I tried having the KSP be Master but the OT got angry. Is it possible?> Am I missing some setting? Do I need ANOTHER MIDI box of some sort?
What is KSP. I looked it up, and it sent me to Native Instruments script writing program for Kontack.

I had difficulty trying to get the KSP to stay in sync over midi. Eventually I ran clock out from my MPC Live II (master) over an USB. I run the notes from my KSP through midi into the MPC. (I have experienced plenty of sync problems over the years. Sometimes it is impossible to get a machine to work well as a slave).
Also, the Pyramid is a little confusing. I had to experiment to figure out how things were flowing. It took awhile of trail and error.
I thought you did not know what the KSP was? Random.
I tend not to think in acronyms… there are a zillion, Roland/Boss being the worse. Also I do not spend much time on forums. Octatrack works best as a master. At least when recording/sampling into.
