OT hum noise SOLVED

hi guys …

I have the MD A4 MM going into my AH Zed14 mixer … all is well…

but when I bring the OT into the party my setup starts to hum noticably!

also the case when I run the OT through the inputs of the A4 … as well as connecting it straight into the mixer …

all power supplies go into the same socket … cables are non balanced (except for the monitor speakers)

what is your experience?

EDIT: had to to with the input / direct / gain levels

Keep in mind that it says right in the manual you may get hum if the USB cable is connected. Most of the time it makes no difference for me, but every now and then the USB cable noise starts creeping in and then I just unplug it.

I didn’t have the USB cable plugged in , but would have totally forgotten to keep this in consideration … however I had the USB in my A4, which I also totally ignored as a source of hum / noise …
