OT, El Cap, OP-1 jam

Hey!

After a pretty long spell of unimportant crap getting in the way of music, I made a little something.

I got the El Cap, finally. Here’s a jam with the Octatrack, OP-1 and El Cap. Not the best musicianship I’ve ever displayed, but I kind of like the actual sounds. Now I just have to get my playing and OT juggling up to par.

The El Cap is used to lo-fi some sounds, so it’s not an actual delay here.

One scene setup I enjoyed very much:
I have a track with hihats and a couple of perc hits.
I have a scene on the track that increases the RTRG from 1 to 2 (RTIM at 1) and sets the spring reverb send from a modest 12 to 127. sliding the x-fader to the right increases the number of hat hits and makes the hats go off-beat… It creates a disjointed feel, great for making mini-breakdowns in a pattern.
