Hey everyone! Maybe somebody out there can help me…
I am trying to sequence my model cycles and Serum (inside Bitwig) on my PC from my OT.
I have the MIDI out from the OT into the MIDI In on the cycles. Then MIDI thru from the cycles to my interface and into my PC. The MIDI is passing thru the cycles and Serum is working.
MIDI channels 1 - 3 on the OT are triggering drums on the cycles.
Channel 5 on the OT is intended to just trigger Serum.
However, Bitwig + Serum seem to be receiving every MIDI note that are on channels 1 - 3 also.
I added a MIDI filter in Bitwig and it seems like every MIDI note is coming in to Bitwig on channel 1… as if all four MIDI channels have been flattened somewhere along the chain.
Therefore, Serum is triggering like crazy! And i can only use it if I also mute channels 1 - 3.
Does this make sense to anybody?? Hope I’ve explained it clearly and making sense. Anybody have any ideas what might be wrong??
