OT Collect all & save queries

Hi!

Is there a way to collect & save all samples to a project?
Why do i ask this? I’m always working on different projects at the same time. Next to that my memory card is full of libraries and samples that i’ve recorded. As i want to clean up my memory every now and then, i would like to backup finished projects (to my computer) with all the samples/sounds that have been used in these particular projects, so that i never lose any related material.

Please help/advice. Thanx!

Yes indeed, let me check the manual.

[Proj] -> PROJECT -> COLLECT SAMPLES

Manual p32~

Thanx so much!

The samples used to fill the Flex and Static sample slots are fetched from the audio pool of the set. The
samples used by a project can also be collected and saved in the project folder. The command COLLECT
SAMPLES are used for this and makes a project more or less self contained.

Manual p. 16

COLLECT SAMPLES copies samples that are used by the currently active project into the project directory, which will effectively disconnect the project from the audio pool.

A good thing to do is to backup your entire flash card on a hard drive.

Swapping flash card is not such a good move since the pins that read the card are the Achilles heel for OT.

You can create a new set and see for yourself what “collect all” does exactly, with a couple samples for instance.
