OT alternative for live midi-sync'd looping?

Cool, which apps do you have in mind?

I have an iPad so that’s great news!

Need to dive into dongle town to get midi and audio sorted probably though.

Loopy HD or Audiokit Looper

Personally, I’d use AUM or Audiobus with the ENSO looper AU, that way I can apply extra fx, mix and match, and do other things. To be fair, I haven’t really tried any other loopers.

It’s old and out of production but I still use an EHX 2880 for this sort of thing. Never actually put it next to the OT but I didn’t ahve any sync issues with any of the other gear I’ve used it with over the years.

Also, if you need a REALLY long (like up to 20 minutes or more) stereo delay you can use it for that, too, since the level faders are essentially feedback controls.

There are newer, more feature rich loopers from EHX and others but I keep coming back to the 2880 because it has a control-per-function layout and it’s really intuitive and fun to play.

Pretty cheap on the used market now.

Why? Big size maybe? Headrush Looperboard is ridiculously huge.
The Rc202 is almost same size format as DN.
Ehx, Pigtronix Infinity…
Mc 707, Mc 101
Aeros I didn’t know :

I’m 1010 Blackbox curious right now for live looping.

It looks great, although I had initially shrugged it off.
