Wow, thank you all for nice feedback :slight_smile:

@Barfunkel
I just use it as a 2-channel-recorder for my mixer. Nothing really fancy, the tapedeck is a fisher standard studio model which I bought at a thrift store for 5€, so you won’t need anything special I think. The s900 definitly plays a big role in terms of the smoothness! I’m stunned by it’s warm and round sound. The tape is more for the overall compression and “analogness”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1bn-Auhlv0 In this video I use the very digital sounding MicroWave2 for the main synth parts and the track is overall more “sharp”, so you can maybe hear a difference. But what I really like about the whole tape deck thing is that you finish tracks! You just don’t waste your time searching for the “perfect” eq settings and reverb wetness, just play a little around on your OT and hit record.

@Diapause
Thanks! I will send a download link in the next couple days, I’m a little busy because of uni at the moment.

@RyanElektric
In my opinion the s900/950 has a good and simple approach for sampling and sample managment! My aim for the future is to let the s900 play all drum samples and use the OT just as a MIDI sequencer and for other samples like loops or vocal chops.

@jamrod
The OT played the vocal sample, hihats and the quiet snare. PM should be there in the next few days :wink:

@FmSafari
Thank you very much :slight_smile: Thats a big compliment!
