OT+A4 live performance question - banks

Hi all,
I have an Octatrack and am looking to get an Analog Four for live performances.
I’m currently using the OT just in pattern mode, one song per bank, so 16 banks = 16 songs.
I’ve been looking through the Analog Four manual and see that it only has 8 banks.
So, how would I perform the 16 banks of the OT with the A4 when it only has 8 banks?

Any help would be much appreciated, I like to get this stuff figured out before purchasing.

Cheers!

Don´t use direct Program Change.
Use Multi Map on the A4, and a MIDI track on the OT to control it.

By the way, 16 banks doesn’t need to be 16 songs.

What I meant is that there is no need to have a direct relationship between the patterns you use for a song on the OT to the patterns you use for that song on the AF.

No absolute need perhaps, but if the two machines are designed to be used together it seems logical and obvious that there should be some correlation between the number of patterns each can hold. Only having 8 banks of 16 patterns on the A4 (as opposed to 16 banks of 16 patterns on the OT) makes me wonder how much though Elektron have put into using the two machines together in live performance.
