Oops. Just ordered DT

This is the only box from Elektron (apart from Sid Station) which I haven’t really touched yet. I’ve (accidentally ) just ordered one with a good discount on eBay, and was wondering if it can send / receive audio and MIDI to my iPhone / iPad with one lightning cable ?
I know it is Class compliant for audio, wasn’t sure about MIDI.
The idea would be to sequence apps on my iOS device and have it running back into the effects section or to be sampled with just one cable.
Thanks

Woohoo

And I can run the incoming audio into the DT FX / compressor ?

Most straightforward Elektron unit, and powerful sound.
You’ll have a nice summer ^^

I’m wondering why I haven’t owned one before, and I must say the modern conveniences of usb audio etc do excite me. My MnM, MD and OT are going to have a rest for a while

I would recommend the Digitakt to practically anyone with ears and fingers. You can make pretty much any sound you like if you put your mind to it. Bang for the buck it scores 11 out of 10.

I succumbed a couple of weeks ago and found that the DT is a dream to work with connected to the iPad. Almost completely seamless. The audio “just works”

The only thing that tripped me up was sequencing synths on the iPad from the DT sequencer and that was because I hadn’t read the manual. I just needed to enable MIDI for the particular MIDI trigger.
