Practicing a 3-piece live setup . Some DN sounds by Jeanne Artemis. Definitely some Emptyset inspiration in there. Kind of messed up the very end ( or maybe the whole thing, you tell me ), these OT buttons are a bit worned out. I try to buy second-hand gear if I can.
There’s a midihub in between these devices. The OT is sending out live-programmed midi trigs to the 3P. All pads on the OP are in the the mono group. So the trigs from the OT somewhat interact with the live drumming. Which I like.

I like it, nice approach. I always appreciate a mix of grid and live playback. Great idea!

Maybe add a pushing sound in the lower mids? Tom, clap? I think it’s not messed up at all, you could really push it further.

I’ve added a few videos on the channel. I’m preparing an EP where I’m trying to improvise on some patterns. Here’s one take. It’s not perfect, but I’m trying to prioritize the energy, I’m really hoping I can play this in a small venue some time. Any comments are welcome.

The setup is pretty much unchanged except an added OTO boum unit that only processes the digitone.
