Of course, you can.
Set loop to ON in Playback Setup. If set to AUTO the machine will follow what you set in the Attributes Page in Audio Editor.

  1. Is there anyway to stop sample trigs being triggered on playback without taking them off the sequencer? I’ve got this part system now, where part 1 records trigs and part 2 has a playback trig of internal sample. It’s pretty seamless. But it’s abit dangerous, as soon as you stop playback and restart you erase the sample you’ve recorded. “disarm” doesn’t seem to stop record either.

One Shot recorder trig is your friend.
Infact ARM/DISARM work on this kind of trigs.
You put a trig, then FUNCTION press that trig, it turns from red to solid yellow(when it’s in armed state).
Once fired or disarmed, it turns blinking red/yellow.
Arming and disarming can happen at Playback trig Level and Recorder trig Level.
It is important to understand how to interact correctly with them, if you use One-Shots ( you should ; )
