In aid of getting back on topic there are a lot of posters here who think that their are bright lines for what can and cannot be discussed, where as others including the moderators view the matter as unsettled, this is evident by the thread still being open and the rules still remaining vague.
The text that causes this issue:
Lets try to engage with the topic of conversation and point out where where you personally think the line is, what you think is allowed to be discussed “General discussion” and what you don’t think is allowed to be discussed “actively encouraging”, and “distributing actionable material”
Detail the shape of the divide, To make it clear to everyone where you think the edges are what is “General discussion” and what is “actively encouraging” use placeholder terms in brackets for anything you feel would be crossing the line like [firmware name] [feature] [download link] [firmware offset] [function name] and so on.
This will allow others to interrogate that and we can hopefully move further towards clarity.
