I am thinking about switching to the dark trinity but a bit unsecure, wich one do you think its better? i really like my MD and MM not so sure about the rytm and I allready have the A4 but not so much use lately

If you’re happy with what you’ve got stick with it.
Plenty of demos of the AR out there, do you prefer it’s sound to the MD? Its a very different Machine.
A lot more beef, seq is more advanced like the A4, sample handling is better etc.
It doesn’t play the same tho, the MD is the shizzle when it comes to jamming!
I certainly wouldn’t part with the MD or MM for it!
I’d try to get some hands on in a store or find a forum member nearby before making a decision.
What about the OT, have you got that or are you considering that as a replacement for one of the older machines?
went from mduw mm to MD/MM/OT (sold OT) then MD/MM/A4 (sold first generation a4 before poly update)
stuck with MDUW and MM until i purchased an analog keys
MDUW and MM went in favor of an AR
so now i am with the AR and AK combo - heavenly analog for me
I miss my lovely MM but find i can get a lot of mm digital tones out of the AR and AK. Also i find i get a lot of the dig MDUW tones out of the AK and AR.
on the flip side its almost impossible to get the AR and AK analog sound out of the MD and MM
I allready have the OT (love it after the MD)the only i dont have is the Rytm and i use more the MM than A4 i am only looking to simplify my set up
I have the dark trinity and the last piece was OT, I chose it over MM, Simply because MM has synths I don’t need (i.e. virtual analog). I wanted the wavetable and FM engines in it. But my lure to avangarde sampling was too strong, I really want to record trains, animals, water, wind, cars and sequence that into my music. Besides now with OT I can either build a Preen FM or get a used Waldorf Blofeld and sequence some digital synths in the background. So really I am kind of happy with what I got. On the flip side if I did have MD and MM I would stick with them and add an OT. So for me none is better I just added what I was missing.

Hi Peter just for a change and overbridge its makeing me think to return to live and work in ITB i use alot of traditional instruments like guitar, sax, flute bass so a OTB aproach is not my workflow . I can jam with the elektron boxes really long but when i want to transfer that to a structured song including my other instruments is not the best workflow i think
