May be a bigger effort then we expected. but we are working for our community, which mind you holds the Elektron community near and dear.

yikes. hope all is remedied soon. godaddy has been good when this has happened to me.

Thanks @danlukas it is more about the domain owner then GoDaddy, they have been very open.

Would like to help out in any way I can.

I’m going to try to find a way of contacting JP when I get home from work tonight. Hopefully, the site is not totally lost and it’s just a matter of one/some of us paying for a domain renewal. Fingers crossed! If we’re lucky and can revive the site, perhaps we should take this opportunity to suggest transfering the duties of keeping the site ticking over to an active member on the forum… it would be
such a shame for ohpeewon to die out!

JP has not been responsive, I am not sure why. this happened a while back and he said he would not let it die. I hope he responds in some way.

Hi everyone!

I have been following this discussion, hoping for a come back of the ohpeewon website for a while. Personally I think it would be a big loss for everybody, if there wouldn’t be any positive ending to this situation, that is why I am willing to create a new Community focusing on the OP1, keeping in mind the effort required. I would love to see it growing and taking it to the same active level of the previous one; I hope many of the original members will follow me in this adventure, registering with the same usernames, so that we can all find ourselves a new place where to enjoy and discuss OP1 matters.

It’s not gonna be easy I know, I will do my best to make it happen, gladly with your help too. This is just the starting phase, graphics and details will follow soon.
