I dont know what to search for hence the thread. In my pyramid i can increase the zoom in step mode. How do i do same in the octatrack? My hunch is that its to separate scales for each track and set master higher and choose fraction but i am not sure.
On the OT, in the Scale Setup menu, you can set a “tempo multiplier” for each individual track. A value of 2x will double the resolution of the sequencer, but shorten the duration of the pattern’s track. More details are given on page 94 of the manual.
Ok so I was on the right lines but yes you nailed the language tempo multiplier. thank you Peter The OT manual is with me by my side always but the thing that got me was I didnt know what to look for in the manual index and in fact it doesnt refer to that there at all I just did a reverse lookup too and page 94 didnt appear at all. Anyway I didnt want you all to think I hadnt looked at the manual before asking the question itself.
