Last night I set up my BloKeys with my fairly recently purchased OT for the first time. I had a lot of fun using the Blofeld as a multitimbral module controlled by the OT while the Blo was in multi mode. It took me a little while to figure out how to set up the keyboard control so that the keys would stop triggering various functions on the OT (like trigs, start/stop, etc.) and work only as a keyboard to play the selected midi track/and input sequencer note data. By setting the auto channel to 16 and setting the Blofelds channel to 16 I was able to play the keyboard as a keyboard in midi mode and it wouldn’t trigger trigs or transport functions… awesome! Today I’ve been trying to wrap my head around pickup machines and I can’t just play my Blofeld without it starting the sequence whenever I hit the low B key, or triggering trigs when I play C-A.

How does one properly set all of this up?

I could be wrong, I’m still fairly new to the OT, but I think it works like this.

In the project menus
MIDI, CONTROL
Audio CC in and Audio Note in allow for midi to control those things
I keep those unchecked.
Audio CC out and Note out, I set to internal.

under MIDI, CHANNELS
Trig CH sets the incoming midi channel for your audio tracks.

Personally I dont use the Auto channel.
I just assign my midi tracks individual channels.
