My filter envelope seems to be looping/repeating endlessly in the background, regardless of whether or not the sequencer is stopped or started. I only want to trigger the filter envelope once at the beginning of the pattern, then have it play through to completion.
Is there a way to trigger the filter envelope only once at the beginning of a pattern?
I will say I have the Q set to maximum, so maybe it’s feeding back/self-oscillating?
It will trigger every time a trig is happening, so if you want it to behave as you want probably the easiest way is to resample the track with no filter env depth and the filter fully open, then on a new track play this sample just on the first trig with the filter env settings you want.
Env Filter can’t loop. It can be an lfo.
You can also use an lfo as an envelope, with Sync Trig setting, eventually make your envelope with the lfo designer.
Some more details would help, like the type / length of your sample…
