Happy, new owner of a Machinedrum here. I’ve got the OT and MD speaking with each other via MIDI just fine except for one minor issue: when I press Stop on the OT (master), the MD (slave) pauses, and I then have to press Stop on the MD to ensure that its sequence starts from the beginning the next time I press Play on the OT. It’d be nice to have the MD respond to the exact transport controls entered in the OT and have them start/stop at the same point on the sequencer… Is there a simple solution to this that I’m overlooking in the manual(s)? I just have the OT and MD configured to send and receive transport controls respectively. Or is this just how it works with these two?
Oddly enough, when I press pause (Play) on the OT, the MD sequence will pause as well. Nice, accurate control! But still, whenever I press Stop on the OT the MD only pauses. Not as accurate. Kind of annoying… Any insight here? Or am I doomed to forever having to press Stop on the MD after pressing Stop on the OT first (oh, the humanity!!)?
