Octatrack + TR-8S tempo issue

Sending MIDI out from OT to MIDI in on TR-8S.

MIDI Channels checked.

I am trying to set the OT as master clock and the TR-8S as slave.

Roland TR-8S is set to:
TempoSync AUTO
Sync Out OFF
RxStartStop ON

Clock Send id enabled on the OT.

For some reason, the TR-8S won’t follow the OT clock.

I would be grateful for any insights.

I remember experiencing some weird syncing problems too. Maybe try to set the temposync to midi explicitly
Also might want to check that omni mode is off.

Thank you. I have changed those settings but still nothing.

I also checked with Ableton as the brain the TR-8S does follow Ableton.

I seem to be missing something on the OT.
