Octatrack Slice question (noob)

Hi, I see many people previewing slices using func+yes, when in slice mode…but I thought I saw one video where a guy had slice trig mode activated and still could edit the start and end points of those slices, but he previewed them on the trig keys instead of func+yes. Is that possible? Why would anyone use the func+yes combo instead?

Try both methods yourself and see what works for you. Dont worry about the habits of others.
