Octatrack Samples not loading properly

Good morning, I’m having issues with some samples I’m trying to load into my project. On static and flex machines the samples will not play at the proper speed and they are slowed down a ton. It acts like time stretch isn’t a thing with these samples as well. I’ve tried all the ways to stretch it but it seems like nothing applies to these samples. I’ve tried auto, normal and beat mode as well via the source page and the Audio Editor page. Not sure what else I need to do to get these samples to play back properly. The device has detected the BPM the samples were recorded at properly but just won’t stretch them…

No 48 kHz samples in Octatrack.

Also > 16/24 bit mode check.

Any suggestions for reducing these samples to something my Octatrack can use? Never had to do this before should I just play it in ableton and sample via my audio interface? I’d like to have the samples on the machine though

I use Fission (have not done that in a long time, so could be wrong here) for sample rate conversion on a Mac. There is a lot of software that is capable though.

Yes you can. Resampling is a fast, dirty and easy option I often apply myself.

Thanks again! Threw all the loops into ableton and rendered the stems as 44.1 kHz in a separate folder

Slice and chain em up on the OT! I miss my OT, should have taken it with me!
