Octatrack pickup machine changing BPM by .1 - .2 every time I record

I have QREC and. QPL both set to PLEN but everytime I record a loop it sets my BPM back by .1 BPM… What is going on?! Then when I correct it back it won’t let me overdub.

Alright so it’s whenever I loop 16 steps when I have the r length on max… it just seems to go down .1 BPM, which is really annoying is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?!

Are you using external clock? That’s a pretty normal amount of jitter for external clock, unfortunately (most hardware just doesn’t display it so you usually don’t notice unless you try to multitrack from a drum machine that doesn’t have direct outs or something like that where it gets more obvious).
