Octatrack OS Upgrade via User Send (MKII to MKI)

Yes, I messed up and interrupted an OS upgrade on my MKI to 1.4.

Nothing else is wrong, but it seems like the only way I can correct the OS is to either do midi to usb or user send with another octatrack. Is it possible to do this with an MKII? Or will this ruin the MKI?

For midi to usb, can this be done through a usb interface or do I need a usb-midi cable?

Did you try again putting the new firmware on the card ?

You can’t use USB for midi, it can be used for storage only.

You can’t use another Octatrack to upgrade.

You need to use midi din IN connection, and a midi interface.
You can use Elektron C6 software to send the firmaware sysex.
(SYSEX UPGRADE)
